GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES - Weistec Engineering is a company that fabricates custom high-end automotive projects. Quality is a priority since we work with premium automotive brands. We are looking for someone with a good attitude that is willing to be a team player, follow company standards, is open to learn, and meets the following skills and qualifications.
Welding and Fabrication associated key responsibilities:
- Metal Fabrication which includes Welding, Grinding and Sawing.
- Reading and interpreting Blueprints.
- Keep constant communication with shop foreman
- Work in the field during installations and/or at our customers facilities (when needed).
- Open to work overtime and/or weekends when needed.
Profile Qualifications:
Required:

- Experience fitting and welding stainless steel and Aluminum at least 4 years.
- Proficient in MIG and TIG welding process
- Understands how to read blueprints.
- Experience performing on site installations.
- Know how to read various measuring devices.
- Ability with basic math.
- Ability to read, write and understand English.
- Good communication skills.
- Have some experience with safety procedures.

- Purging stainless steel pipe with argon.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Experience in design and fabrication of weld fixtures.

Accounting Clerk
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES – Accounting Clerk with minimum of 2-5 years of experience. Responsibilities include accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, collections, purchasing and inventory.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Procurement - responsible for the accounting procurement process including preparing payments; ensuring proper support; assigning account numbers; tracking due dates; reconciling vendor accounts; tracking obligations and ensuring expenses are properly approved.
- Sales – prepare and process sales orders and invoices; track and collect customer payments; and ensure accuracy of orders.
- Inventory - assist with inventory tracking processes; bill of materials; item listing; physical inventories; valuation; and accuracy of inventory.
- Accounting questions - answer accounting and financial questions from vendors, customers and staff by researching and interpreting data and preparing financial reports.
- Financial close - assist with preparing monthly reconciliation for all accounts, including bank reconciliations and documentation to support all balances.
- Fixed assets - maintain fixed asset ledger including, tracking and depreciation.
- Other duties as assigned including special projects
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:

- Thorough knowledge of QuickBooks including tracking of inventory
- At least 2 years of relevant work history
- Proficiency with advanced features in Microsoft Excel

- CNC Programmer
Weistec Engineering is seeking a passionate individual to join our manufacturing team. This qualified individual would be a highly proficient CNC Programmer capable of fast prototype machining. Collaborating with engineers and technicians, you will be responsible for the entire CNC operations and staff. Hands-on experience and a “get it done" attitude are very important for this position.
- Program, set up, and operate 3 and 5-axis CNC milling, and 2-axis lathe to create complex automotive components, from rough stock to finished part.
- Program, set up, and operate ST-35Y Mill Turn.
- Determine the best setup, machining strategy, order of operations, tool selection, and speed/feed parameters for each project.
- Identify, select, manufacture, and organize appropriate tooling for projects based on part material, geometry, features, tolerances, and system capability.
- Collaborate with team members to develop a standardized process for machining, work holding, and set-up to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with engineers and operators to improve the design and manufacturability of tools and components.
- Organize and manage multiple machining projects with a high degree of efficiency.
- Lead the continuous improvement of a well-organized and safe environment for all workspaces.

Engineering associated key responsibilities:
- Provide mechanical design and development services in support of projects, including part and assembly design from conceptual and detail design through manufacturing introduction.
- Utilize SolidWorks solid modeling and drawing software to complete mechanical design for a wide range of components and assemblies composed of stainless steel, chromoly, aluminum and plastics that are manufactured via casting, CNC machining, LASER cutting, CNC forming and molding.
- Manage data and data collaboration using SolidWorks Product Data Management (PDM).
- Apply DFMA principles and act as a key liaison with manufacturing and purchasing associates to optimize manufacturability, reliability, performance, and cost.
- Examine and analyze new designs to determine feasibility of operations, tooling, manufacturing, and applications.
- Utilize rapid prototyping techniques and equipment including 3D printers and digital scanners to minimize time to market.
- Assemble and evaluate proof of concept prototypes.
- Prepare and execute component and system verification and validation test plans, including establishing pass/fail criteria.
- Create, manage, release, and maintain BOM's.
- Prepare and update project timelines, assuring compliance with project deliverables.
- Continuously improve critical engineering processes including 3D modeling and drawing best practices, design and data control, verification and validation testing, change order and design release.
- Mentor and support the development of less experienced engineering associates.
- Maintain consistent and documented compliance with all quality, best practice, and relevant Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) requirements.
- Network with industry partners, suppliers, customers, and authorities to identify new technical developments and trends, incorporating these into technological innovations and applications at Weistec Engineering.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
- 7-10+ years designing and developing mechanical products and systems in a manufacturing environment
- 5-7+ years using SolidWords 3D modeling, drawing, PDM and FEA software
- Understanding of multiple engineering disciplines including electrical and electronic
- Understanding of multiple engineering disciplines and standard processes
- Proven ability to apply critical engineering processes in performance of work including GD&T, DFMA, FMEA, PFMEA, root cause analysis, and disciplined problem solving
- Ability to understand and manage complex systems
- Self-motivated, organized, professional and applying strong interpersonal skills applied in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
- Demonstrated capability to understand and manage complex systems
- Ability to lead a project while managing multiple assignments and prioritizing activities
