Notice |
The Polaris RZR Pro R extended range fuel tank is a gas tank. It is not a fuel cell. A fuel cell is specially designed and built for racing use. Fuel cells are more impact resistant than a fuel tank and offer other features that make it safer in the event of a crash including higher burst strength. Fuel cells typically require custom fabricated mounting often in a location other than where the stock tank is positioned. |
Regulations for vehicle emissions vary by state and region. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to understand the applicable regulations and the potential impact of the regulations on the operation of the vehicle and the vehicle emissions system warranty. For any assistance needed, please email tech@weistec.com or phone 1 (877) 934-7832. |
WARNING |
It's recommended to have a qualified professional install this fuel tank. Failure to install this product in accordance with instructions could result in serious injury or death. |
Misuse and/or improper installation can cause serious damage or injury. |
Our fuel tanks are thoroughly inspected prior to shipping. However, there is potential for the tank to be damaged during shipping and handling. Because of this, we recommend having a qualified professional thoroughly inspect the fuel tank prior to installation to assure that no shipping damage has occurred. In the event of damage, do not install the product. |
Always inspect the fuel system for leaks prior to starting or operating the vehicle. Pay particular attention to the fuel tank itself, the fuel filler neck, the outlet of fuel pump and the fuel tank vent line. If leaking fuel were to be exposed to an ignition source, a fire hazard could result. Carefully clean any fuel that has leaked and remedy any leaks before starting or operating the vehicle. |
This fuel tank could be damaged by improper installation, negligence, abuse, misuse, accident, modification, tampering, alteration, faulty installation and/or acts of God. This damage could result in a hazardous situation. |
Operating, servicing, and maintaining a passenger vehicle or off-road vehicle can expose you to chemicals including engine exhaust, carbon monoxide, phthalates, and lead, which are known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. To minimize exposure, avoid breathing exhaust, do not idle the engine except as necessary, service your vehicle in a well-ventilated area, and wear gloves or wash your hands frequently when servicing your vehicle. NOTICE |
Operating with obstructed fuel systems will result in serious engine damage. Perform maintenance as recommended. |
NOTICE |
Prolonged exposure to petroleum based products may damage paint. Always protect painted surfaces when handling fuel. |
